My delicious heart-healthy❤️, anti-inflammatory, vegan NUTShake recipe is a complete breakfast in a glass.

We all know the benefits of highly nutritious nuts that are also loaded with phytonutrients. Even though nuts have a high caloric value, they are high in fiber too which helps them to be low glycemic index (GI) foods which makes them diabetic- friendly as well! Among all Walnuts have the highest antioxidant concentration among the nuts family.

To make 2 glasses of the Vegan NUTShake I used raw and unsalted mixed nuts: 10 walnuts, 10 almonds, 10 cashews, 20 pistachios, 4 brazil nuts, 6 dates, 2 figs, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp hemp seeds, few cubes of ice, a pinch of salt (optional) and 1 cup of flax milk or any plant-based milk. Put everything in your blender and blend it on high for 1 minute and your hearty breakfast is ready. Before proceeding to a medley of nuts in your NUTShake make sure you have tried them individually and don’t have any intolerance. Figs and dates eliminate the need for any added sugar.

Plant-based milk is not a common find in India so for my parents I modified the NUTShake recipe by soaking the nuts the prior night and blending it in the morning with water and ice. Tastes just as delicious!😋
